This quintessential “cabin in the woods”, affectionately referred to as Mimi’s, offers the perfect retreat from city living. Nestled in the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina, the goal of our redecorating effort for this 4-bedroom/3-bath property was to liven up the abundance of natural wood present, invite the outdoors in and honor the large windows featured in every room. By reconfiguring the living room set up (previously the sectional couch backed up to the doors blocking deck access), modifying the furnishings in a few bedrooms and repurposing the other common areas to become a theater and game room respectively, this cabin invites you to get cozy and savor quality time with family and friends.
