“My business is an ever-evolving work of art that reflects my interests as well as my strengths. Currently, I write a blog featuring topics of all kinds relating to design, and I offer design consulting services to help others enhance their lives by enhancing their spaces. I believe our spaces dictate how we show up in the world – when they’re organized and beautiful, we are freeto be our best selves. When they’re chaotic, cluttered and uninspiring, they add weight to our lives. I aim to alleviate that weight by creating practical, inexpensive & visually pleasing solutions to inspire major transformations. Who do you look up to? How have they inspired you?
”Oh wow, too many to count or list out! Strong women have always played a very significant and important role in my life. I have spent countless hours surrounded by friends I consider sisters, learning from my wonderfully eclectic blend of aunts, looking up to my sister, developing camaraderie among female colleagues every place I’ve worked, etc. I feel unbelievably blessed to have so many strong female role models… but I also believe EVERYONE has a story or nugget of wisdom from their own unique experience that can help enrich another’s life… so I very much value my many male role models too!” - LG

How does lighting impact Interior Design?
”In my opinion, lighting is the single most important design element above all others. Interior designers are creative problem solvers – we employ different techniques to reach the same end goal: enhancing our client’s spaces to enhance their experience spending time in them. To achieve this, we make hundreds of decisions about furnishings, décor, paint colors, fabrics, art, etc. – and don’t get me wrong, each of those play a critical role – but it’s the addition of great lighting that brings each of those decisions together to create the warm, inviting energy we are striving for. The quality of lighting is ultimately what sets the mood, which impacts how we feel and therefore how we show up in our relationships too. It is so powerful! -LG
